water info |
These crassulas are quite drought tolerant, but will usually need some supplemental irrigation during summer, at least every two weeks to a month once established. Keep an eye on the leaves, as they are little water tanks that the succulent uses to store water for drier times. If the leaves begin to wrinkle, your plant is ready for water. If the lower leaves begin to shrivel up and shed, this is also a sign that your plant is ready for a drink. This plant holds its lower leaves indefinitely, given precise watering. If you see the lowest leaves shriveling up and exposing the stems you are probably going too long between waterings or not watering enough when you water. |
