Growing Notes

Euphorbias have caustic sap. When pruning, wear goggles, long sleeves, and gloves. If sap gets on your skin or in your eyes, wash immediately and thoroughly.
Leaves fall when nights get cold in winter and regrow later in the spring.
Where summers are warm, it’s worth growing in a pot and protecting in winter outside recommended climate zones.
In hot inland areas, sun can burn the foliage; plants grown in shade will have greener leaves.
Easy to propagate from cuttings, it can be grown as an annual in warm-summer areas.
