info
Sedums are drought tolerant succulents, but most will need additional water if they are grown in a particularly sunny hot spot, especially away from the coast or in a rock garden where the rocks will heat up the area. Keep an eye on the leaves, if they begin to shrivel your plant would like a drink. If water continues to be withheld your plant will begin to shed its oldest leaves.

Growing Notes

As this plant naturally grows in cracks clinging to rock faces in Veracruz, it is quite at home cascading out of a planter. This succulent is quite delicate and should be placed back from high traffic areas where stems and leaves are likely to be knocked off. If they are be sure to propagate them; you can grow an entirely new plant just by placing a leaf (or a pile of them) onto dampened cactus mix!
Some sedums are deciduous, but this one is not and will retain its leaves year round.
