info
Sempervivums are drought tolerant succulents, wanting to go from wet to dry, but they’ll need additional water if they are grown in a particularly sunny hot spot, especially away from the coast or in a rock garden where the rocks will heat up the area.

Growing Notes

Each rosette measures five or six inches across, but will produce clones, resulting in a broader patch useful as a small-scale groundcover. Showy year-round, with paler rosy foliage in winter, deeper red in summer, always edged in white, enhancing the star-like form.
