Growing Notes

Looks dense and dark purple with full sun, but becomes loose, open, and green in bright light.

This plant is very hardy, but will freeze back to the ground with a hard frost and return when days warm. As such, it also takes a hard prune to the ground in stride, which refreshes the clump.

This plant is fragile and should be kept back from high traffic areas, dogs, kids, and drunken parties!
