Growing Notes

This particular westringia looks best when it is allowed to grow in a natural airy shape. When it needs to be pruned for size, entire branches should be removed rather than sheering it. Badly pruned, it will turn in to a blob shape in the garden. For a variegated westringia with a compact and tidy shape, use westringia ‘Morning Light’ instead.

Special Interest

This plant is a selection of Westringia ‘Wynyabbie Gem’, itself a hybrid between Westringia fruticosa and Westringia eremicola.
